The inspiration for MARNAUT’S first ever model created, the Blue Cave (Modra Spilja) on island Bisevo was the perfect setting for igniting the creative spark that launched the Dark Surge. Located on one of the farthest islands from the main land in the Adriatic Sea, this small opening on the side of a cliff face is a naturally illuminated wonder. With an opening of the rock under the sea the sun’s light bounces off the floor and illuminates the cave walls with the mesmerising blue of the Adriatic Sea.

BOL BEACH, ISLAND BRAC CROATIA

Just as the name of our second model suggests, one of the most beautiful seascapes in Croatia is Bol beach also known as Zlatni Rat which is translated to Golden Horn Beach. Located on the Adriatic island of Brac the beach is comprised of small pebbles that protrude out into the Sea. The curving top of the beach moves slightly each year according to the currents. A beautiful contrast in deep greens against the creme pebbles, the pine trees on Golden Horn beach themselves mimic the outer shape of this natural wonder and provide shade during hot summer months. One of the most impressive natural beaches in the world due to its size and shape, Bol beach is most certainly one of the most impressive seascapes in Croatia.
